This page describes what this site collects and what happens to it. The short version is that we collect very little, we never sell it, and a dealer only ever receives your details when you have asked to be put in touch with that named company.

What we collect

  • No account, and no advertising profile. Reading this site requires no sign-in, and nothing collected here is used to target advertising or sold to anybody.
  • Analytics on every page, covering pages viewed, how you arrived, and rough location at country level. This runs from the moment a page loads and we no longer ask first. Until 11 September 2026 we did ask, and the section below explains how to turn it off yourself now that we do not.
  • What you type into a form, which is the email address for the newsletter, or the answers plus contact details where a form routes you to a dealer.

The calculators run in your browser and the numbers you enter are not sent to us or stored anywhere, so you can price a transfer here without telling us the amount.

Cookies, and how to refuse them

Opening any page here sets two Google Analytics cookies, _ga and one named for this site's measurement stream. They hold a random identifier and no name, address or email, and their only job is to tell a returning reader from a new one so the same person is not counted twice, and they are gone two years after your last visit.

Those are the only cookies this site sets. There are no advertising cookies, and the three advertising signals Google Analytics can collect are switched off in our configuration permanently, so this data cannot be used to build an ad audience or follow you to another site. That is a setting rather than a promise, and it is the reason the rights section below can say we do not share for advertising.

You can refuse all of it, and there is no banner to click because we stopped asking. Three routes, any one of which is enough. Block third-party scripts or cookies for this domain in your browser settings. Install Google's own Analytics opt-out add-on to switch it off on every site at once. Or write to the address below and we will confirm what we hold about you and delete it.

Where a form results in a dealer contacting you, that company is named on screen before you submit, and the consent you give covers that named company rather than a category of partners. We store what was shown to you, what you agreed to, and the timestamp, so the record can be produced later if the basis for a call is ever questioned.

Several states run telephone and messaging consent statutes stricter than the federal rule, and the position federally has been unsettled since the Eleventh Circuit vacated the one-to-one consent rule in January 2026. Consent captured here is specific for that reason, and you can withdraw it by replying STOP to a message or using the unsubscribe link in any email.

Who your details reach

Only the dealer you asked to be introduced to, and the service providers that run this site's email and hosting. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not pass an address to a company you did not select.

How long it is kept

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Form submissions and their consent records are kept for as long as the consent could be relied on plus the period a claim could be brought, then deleted. Analytics is aggregated and holds nothing that identifies you.

Your rights

The terms cover what this site is and is not, and the disclosure covers how it earns. Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. California residents have those rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, including the right to opt out of sale or sharing, and since we do neither there is nothing to opt out of. Write to privacy@thegoldiradigest.com and we will act on it within 45 days.
