Reporting a wrong number
Corrections are the most useful thing you can send. Tell us the page, the figure you think is wrong, and where the right one comes from, and we will check it against the source and update the page. Where a change is material we note what moved and when rather than editing quietly, so a reader who acted on the old figure can see that it changed.
If you work for a company we cover
Send the correction the same way, with the schedule or filing that supports it. A published source will be taken over a description of one, and a page will be updated on the evidence rather than on a request. We do not remove regulator or court records, and we do not offer pre-publication review to companies we write about.
What we cannot help with
We are not able to give advice on your own situation, recommend a company for your circumstances, or intervene in a dispute with a dealer. For a dispute, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and your state securities regulator both take complaints, and both are worth contacting before a private arbitration clause narrows your options.
